Interim Engineering Leadership Stabilizes Team & Delivers 4 Automation Tools During Organizational Crisis
When Sourcegraph's Director of Engineering departed in May 2022, the team faced a leadership void compounded by recent layoffs and the onboarding of four new engineers within an eight-person team. Stepping into an interim leadership role, I prioritized team morale and psychological safety through individual coaching sessions while coordinating cross-functional collaboration between new and seasoned engineers. Over a 2-3 month period, the stabilized team shipped four internal automation tools that simplified time-consuming manual processes, including a log analyzer that translated complex container logs into human-readable formats and a command generator enabling non-technical stakeholders to create shell commands independently.

Enterprise SaaS Sales Strategy Secures Millions in ACV for Untested Pharmaceutical CRM Platform
In 2021, IQVIA's London-based senior management challenged me to generate new revenue for an untested pharmaceutical CRM SaaS product critical to the tech branch's expansion strategy. Within less than a month of initial prospect engagement, I secured meetings with a multinational client's Head of Marketing, demonstrated the platform's value alignment with their specific needs and closed one of the largest deals in the EMEA region. Leading both pre-sales and post-sales activities, I customized pricing to fit their budget, coordinated training across distributed teams in Algeria and Tunisia and provided hyper-care support during the first quarter post go-live, ultimately delivering millions of dollars in annual contract value for a previously unproven product.

National Land Records Digital Transformation Delivers 99.99% Uptime Across $2M Cloud Migration
In 2019, Kenya's ICT Authority tasked me with leading the technical migration of over one million physical land records to digital infrastructure as part of a critical national digitization initiative. Serving as Technical Advisor on a cross-functional task force that included government officers, law enforcement and technology vendors, I provided technical guidance and leadership to engineering and data collation teams handling some of the Republic's most sensitive documents. Over a six-month period, we successfully migrated all records from legacy physical storage to private government servers and ultimately to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, managing a $2M project while maintaining 99.99% system uptime throughout the transition.
